Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a joint process between a licensed therapist and a person in therapy. The common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. It can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions and reaching goals.

The Difference
Finding a therapist you are comfortable with is vital to successful treatment. I offer personalized guidance in a warm, supportive environment. I utilize various modalities in session including Cognitive/Behavioral, Mindfulness, Relaxation/Meditation and Spiritual/Intuitive Guidance to provide an individualized therapy program developed specifically for you. We address the struggles that are relevant to you and help meet your goals in a realistic time frame. Many enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware and choose ongoing therapy for continued self-growth.
Group Therapy
Traditional group therapy consists of a group of individuals who meet on a regular basis to discuss their problems. This traditional approach of focusing on the problems; goes against my philosophy of therapy. This atmosphere can be a breeding ground for negativity and the continual propulsion of problems into your everyday life.

The Difference
My groups consist of individuals who come together to share areas of struggle and to work through their problems. The focus then moves from the problems to the solution. Our perception of our struggles leaves us with either a “problem” or a solution. The way we choose to look at our life circumstances dictates whether we see a problem or not. Through group facilitation, I can help you to develop an alternative way of thinking about your “problems,” and teach you ways in which you can cope with and excel in any life circumstance. The group setting provides a safe, comfortable environment for members to take interpersonal risks. Sharing with others can be a very healing experience and helps to promote personal growth.
